Connect your Holidu account with the local authority

To automatically share your guest information with the local authority, you must ensure that:

• You have access to this feature in your account settings. Currently, this is only available for selected Holidu account holders.
• You have created an account with the regulatory authority of your property's location. For example, if your property is located in Italy, you need to create an account with the Polizia di Stato.

How do I create an account with the local authority?

To create an account, please refer to the table below and visit the website that corresponds to your property's location. You will need to contact the local authority to obtain the necessary login details for their platform.

What are the next steps after creating the account with the local authority?

It’s simple - once you’ve obtained your username and password from the local authority, all you need to do is:

1. Log in to your Holidu account.
2. Go to "Account" and click on the button “Activate” in the "Guest Registration” section.
3. Enter your local authority credentials.
4. Click on “Activate”.
5. We will send you an email to confirm if the connection with the local authority was successful or not. This may take several hours.

The connection with the local authority failed, what do I do?

If the connection of your Holidu account with the local authority failed:

1. Check your credentials and re-enter both your username and your password.
2. If you are still unable to connect, please contact your local authority to make sure your account works properly.
