Are youth groups allowed?
It is necessary to be over 18 years old to make a reservation. For some of our partners, it is necessary to be 21, 25 or even 30 years old to reserve one of their accommodations. Moreover, some agencies or owners refuse "youth groups". If you have any doubts about this, do not hesitate to contact us.
Can I bring my dog or other pets?
To see only pet-friendly accommodations, please activate the corresponding filter. Select your destination first and then activate the field “pets allowed” in the filter “amenities.” The description of each property provides more detailed information on the respective regulations. Would you like to bring more than one pet? In this case, we recommend asking the landlord directly before booking,
Do I rent the entire accommodation?
In most cases, you rent an entire holiday home or appartment that you do not have to share with other travellers or the landlord. Sometimes, outdoor areas such as the terrace or pool are shared with other guests. Some providers also give you the option of renting individual rooms in the landlord's property. This type of accommodation is called a private room. To avoid such offers being displayed to you, simply select your preferred accommodation type in the corresponding filter. If you are looking for more privacy, you can also filter for houses with private pool - this way you can be sure that you can enjoy your holiday undisturbed.
Do I have the entire accommodation just for me?
Most properties at Holidu can only be rented as the entire apartment or home and are not shared with other travellers or with the landlord. In certain cases, outdoor facilities as pools or terraces are accessible to other guests as well.
How can I see the price and the availability of a property?
Easy! To check the total price and availability, select the arrival and departure dates and the number of people at the top right of the calendar. If you receive a price, the property is available and you can click on Book Now. Here you will find more information about the total price and possible additional costs on site. Additional costs for towels/bed linen, cleaning, pets and consumption costs (electricity/water) are listed separately there. If these costs are not listed, they are already included in the price. The price always applies to the entire accommodation and is not charged per person. If it is an accommodation that can only be booked with one of our partners, you will be automatically redirected and will be provided with all the important information there. As soon as you get a price, the accommodation is bookable and free. You will receive a confirmation by email immediately after booking - please make sure to always check your spam folder as well.
Is Holidu also available as an app?
You can also search and book holiday homes using Holidu on your phone. The most comfortable way to do so is by using the free Holidu app where you can search for your accommodation together with your friends or family or vote for your favorites. All fellow travelers can see at a glance which accommodation is being favored by whom and which holiday home is number one. Why are there price differences with certain holiday homes?
Holidu finds the best price for the same holiday home in the desired travel period. As different booking sites partly demand different fees, there can be price differences of up to 55%. Using Holidu, you can find all offered prices in a transparent comparison. You can choose which offer you want to book. In particular cases, the price can change when being redirected to the corresponding booking site. In this case, please send an e-mail to service@holidu.com.
How do I find accommodations for groups?
Always indicate the number of guests when searching. In addition, you can choose the number of rooms and bathrooms you need by changing the settings in the filters. This way, you will be able to find what you are looking for!
How can I see if an apartment is available?
Enter your travel dates in the calendar in the search box. Then you will know immediately if the accommodation is still available for your chosen dates. In certain cases, you will need to send a booking request first which can be accepted or rejected by the landlord within 48 hours. Instantly bookable rentals can be found by ticking the corresponding filter under the tab “Type of accommodation.”
