The beautiful dune backed beach at Harlech just a few minutes away offers you 6.4 km of pristine, golden, sugar soft sand with sublime views of the Snowdonia mountain range. To the north you will find the beauty of the Morfa Harlech National Nature Reserve and to the south you can visit the Shell Island promontory where you can collect sea shells! Morfa Dyffryn Beach is a glorious stretch of sandy beach with an officially recognised naturist area of 1km. This beautiful beach is also known for regular dolphin sightings.

Visit this iconic, magical attraction located just 25 minutes by car north east of Llanbedr that draws thousands of visitors each year on the Snowdonia Coast near Porthmadog. This fairyland Italianate Village is an architectural wonderland that also features gardens, lovely beaches, colourful shops and restaurants. Stroll about amidst 70 acres of subtropical woodland gardens where you will find 5000 species of exotic plants including California Redwoods!

Step back in time to the heyday of luxury train travel aboard a historic steam engine journey in the heart of Snowdonia National Park. See beautiful ancient oak woodlands, snow capped mountains, sparkling rivers and mysterious castles as you travel along one of the stunning historical rail routes on offer. There are 6 incredible routes to choose from departing from Porthmadog and Caernarfon with journey times varying from 3 to 7 hours of pure sightseeing bliss!

Lace up your hiking shoes and head into beautiful Snowdonia National Park for a fascinating 14km walk that takes you to a spectacular Bronze Age round cairn in the Ardudwy area of the Rhinogydd mountains just a 30 minute drive to the north amidst spectacular scenery. Expect absolutely breathtaking views over Snowdonia from the ascent! You will pass two beautiful shimmering lakes en route.

Come and spend a few hours enjoying a perfect family adventure at Llanfair Caverns just 4 minutes north of Llanbedr. You will be given a torch and a helmet to begin your thrilling adventure walk through the depths of the mountain! Here you will experience the slate mine caverns exactly as the miners left them over a century ago! There are lots of magnificent gemstones to browse and buy in the shop.

Pack a picnic and head out on a fabulous waterfall adventure just 40 minutes east of Llanbedr in Snowdonia National Park near Nantcol where you will find yourself in the midst of breathtaking surroundings of hills, lush woodland and sparkling waterfalls! Stroll across the bridges that span lovely rushing streams before following the path to the waterfall viewing point. There are lots of peaceful places here to stop for a picnic feast and this outing ticks all the boxes for a perfect nature trip on a glorious sunny day!

Barmouth Beach is a lovely place to stop for a day of paddling and sandcastle building! Come along to Snowdonia´s most beloved seaside resort that offers sweeping views of Cardigan Bay and where you will find a wonderfully picturesque harbour. The sand and shingle beach offers brilliant conditions for watersport. The promenade features traditional donkey rides, swing boats and amusement arcades and you will find a great range of shops as well as cafes and pubs for when you start to feel hungry!

Come and relive the mystery and see the history of dramatic Harlech Castle perched on a rocky crag just 8 minutes north of Llanbedr by car. With the majestic snow capped peaks of Snowdonia National Park as a backdrop you will find yourself at a spectacular World Heritage Site! Stroll about and admire the magnificent medieval architecture as you imagine the heyday of dramatic battles and sieges. The castle boasts two rings of walls and towers and a formidable gatehouse. You will find interesting exhibition displays on site as well as a well stocked gift shop.
