The clubhouse is open to the public, without membership, 7 days a week, and parking is readily available.

Harlech makes a great base for fantastic day trips. Start with Porthmadog, a gorgeous 15-minute drive along the coast, and the embarkation point of the Welsh Highlands Steam Train, which takes you on a journey through the majestic Snowdonia National Park.

In the forests of nearby Coed Y Brenin you can enjoy some of the most thrilling mountain biking in the UK. There are numerous routes for all levels of experience, and it is easy to rent a mountain bike if you cannot bring your own equipment. Biking not really your thing? No excuse, Coed Y Brenin is home to some absolutely wonderful walks!

The slate caverns of Llanfair, a 5-minute drive from Harlech, were carved out by man over 100 years ago. Take a self-guided tour, descend Jacobs ladder and meander through the fascinating tunnels and chambers. As you emerge from the caverns, enjoy fabulous views of Cardigan Bay.

The rock is the most innovative, thrilling indoor climbing wall in Snowdonia. With more than 400m of climbing surfaces comprising beginner climbs, dramatic overhangs, pillar blocks, chimney and slab climbing, it makes for a great day out for all the family!

Bring your kids to the Children's Farm Park to get close and personal with your favourite animals. Your kids can cuddle bunnies, feed lambs and frolic in the soft play centre while you take in the spectacular views and enjoy your kids’ beaming smiles!
