Welcome to the charming and welcoming Grassington Folk Museum in Upper Wharfedale, from the moment you enter it is as if you are transported back in time, you will find information about the old town, reminders of yesteryear, displays of lead mining, minerals, handmade tools, lathes, Dales farming, cobbler's bench with its tools and materials, period costumes, household items, WWII memorabilia, folklore and the Yorkshire Dales Railway days remembered. Most of the exhibits have been donated from local sources.

Parcevall Hall Gardens is located in the heart of Wharfedale, in the Yorkshire Dales National Park, at the head of a small valley. It has 24 acres of formal, wooded gardens, offering wonderful panoramic views. They include woodland walks, formal south-facing terraces, a limestone rock garden and a beautiful rose garden where it is a pleasure to sit and relax.

Fabulous to see when the river is in full flow, you can take a lovely walk along the river, get views of the dam and waterfall. A small bridge provides a good place to take photographs. If you wish to take a pleasant 5-minute walk along the river to the beautiful falls, you also have the option of taking your dog for a walk.

Cosy and beautiful church, it is located a few metres from the main tourist areas, at the back of the village. It is built in the style of a two-door entrance full of history with plaques around it showing previous pastors who have given sermons there, it has a wonderful set of stained-glass windows, the atmosphere is ideal for reflection and prayer.

A cosy little bookshop, you get a warm welcome, with an excellent and carefully considered display of books for sale, there is a fabulous range of children's books and an exciting range of non-fiction that really interested us adults. Everything is spotless, clean, welcoming and well laid out. The staff are friendly and helpful.

The Clarendon Country Pub With Rooms restaurant offers delicious dishes for breakfast and lunch. You can taste the delicious goat's cheese dressed in leaves on toasted bread was lovely, muesli, cereal-based, dried fruit and dried or dehydrated fruit, yoghurt, smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, toast and jam and fresh coffee. Yorkshire's lamb, chicken, fish, chips, lemon tart, all within a pleasant atmosphere and with completely friendly and efficient staff.

This beautiful park has a lot of greenery, wonderful woodland and extensive moorland. You can stroll through the manicured gardens of Parcevall Hall, see the medieval architecture of Skipton Castle. You can also go horse riding. There are also several recreation areas, guided trails and cycle paths. The park is criss-crossed by a number of footpaths, several waterfalls such as Aysgarth Falls and monuments such as Bolton Castle.
