The Crampton Tower Museum is a family friendly museum celebrating the life and work of a Victorian engineer. It also depicts the history and transport of the time. The museum is not very big but it is quite enjoyable and it is in a tower next to the Railway Station. Thomas Russel Crampton designed locomotives and other supply systems such as gas and water but he also was the first person who laid a telegraph cable under the English Channel.
