Where are the best places to go for a walk around Benalmádena?
The Costa del Sol is known for its natural beauty, so it's no surprise that there are some great dog walks in Benalmádena for you and your pet to discover. Many of the best walks take advantage of the hilly terrain. Your legs will get a bit of a workout, but you'll be rewarded with some amazing scenery along the way. For something gentle, try the Arroyo de los Muertos trail, which runs for an easy 3.5 km, sloping gradually upwards. After about 45 minutes, you'll find yourself at the top of Calamorro, where you can enjoy some of the most spectacular views of the surrounding area. For a longer walk, try the 6-km Mina de la Trinidad. It's best not to go into the old mine along the way, as it can be dangerous, but the route itself is lovely. It leads you up to the Cerro del Moro viewpoint. On a clear day, you can see all the way to North Africa on the other side of the Strait of Gibraltar.
