Fancy a dramatic, mysterious trail with incredible views? The Roaches Ridge trail offers visitors a glorious view of much of Cheshire all the way to Snowdon in North Wales! This gorgeous, rugged Peak District escarpment trail starts about 8km northwest of Leek and the route is about 10 km. Be sure to stop at the fabled Lud's Church landform while you are in the area where you can take incredible photos inside a spooky, 18m chasm with verdant mossy walls!

Scotland is the birthplace of whisky, and is home to over 130 whisky distilleries! Rent a car and see how many of these wonderful places you can visit, such as Ardbeg on the Isle of Islay or Kingsbarns in Fife.
