You will find different activities that you can do to keep yourself entertained, such as visiting several of its heritage buildings. Just 5 minutes from Salthouse is Weybourne, where you'll find the Muckleburgh Military Collection which holds many stories of military life from training to tanks and armoured vehicles, which you can see during the exhibitions. In addition to that, you can also see artillery, machine guns, missiles, ships, uniforms and much more.

One of Salthouse's most popular pubs and almost a must for many. It has a garden that will allow you to have wonderful views, as well as a delicious lunch. Next to the pub is also the post office and a very popular shop, which you can visit, as it is part of the history of the village having been there for more than three generations.

You can take a day out of your itinerary to visit Salthouse beach, a wonderful place to get in touch with wildlife, nature, take a nice long walk while enjoying the colours of the sunset and if you are a fan of fishing, this is a good place to try it too.

Just at the back of the village you'll see the Salthouse Heath, which is a small trace of what's left of the last ice age. If you go straight there, you'll see this heath, which is like a kind of garden that runs through several paths where you can walk around and fall in love with all the flora you can find there.

Between the village and this ridge, you will find the popular church of San Nicholas. It was built in the 15th century and, due to its location, it could prevent any flooding. It also has a baptismal font with lions and its structure is completely beautiful, so it is worth going for a while to know part of the history or to connect with your spiritual side.

Just 8 minutes away is a nature reserve worth visiting. This is the Blakeney National Nature Reserve, where you can see many seals (over 200!) and then finish your day by visiting one of the cafés in the area.

If you're a bit more adventurous, then it's time to stop by Sheringham Park, one of the most beautiful parks in the area and one not to be missed. You will be able to have incredible views of the sea and be surrounded by nature, while walking through all the trails it has.
