Nairn beach is a paradise that is highly recommended. It has a large park along the entire beach to walk and watch, take ice cream, enjoy the views and lovely sunset. Dogs are allowed, and you can run with them on the sand. If the tide is out it is wonderful, miles of walking on the beach, you will find dunes, clean sand and clear water, so big you feel like you have plenty of space even if it is busy. Ideal for children and adults just relaxing. Also with handy parking with public toilets nearby.

In Nairn there is a well-preserved castle, Cawdor Castle, which has beautiful gardens, with mazes, colourful flowers, pathways, singing birds and inside lots of antique furniture, pictures, models and decorative items full of history of the family who have lived there for generations. The staff around the castle are very friendly and answer all your questions. The antique kitchen is full of artefacts, some of which are impossible to decipher what they were used for. It has a boutique with original gifts of excellent quality.

It is a modern, beautiful course, well situated and challenging. A course to test even the best golfer, especially if the wind is blowing. Some views were breathtaking, it is one of the best courses I have played in a long time. If you are on a golf holiday in the area, this course should be on your list. The clubhouse has excellent food and bar, plus outstanding service.

You are sure to have a wonderful experience, full of entertainment, shooting zombies, dinosaurs, dragons and other fantastic creatures, the whole scenario is one of fun, intended for people with some skills as well as beginners, guided at all times by trained, professional staff.

The museum building inside and out is old and interesting, with varied and old-fashioned exhibition rooms, it has a cosy atmosphere, offers lots of information about the local area, has some of Bonnie Prince Charlie's clothing, its rooms are full of historical curiosities and nicknames, there are books to browse and buy. It's in a lane just off the bus station and beyond the sports centre, it's like a stately home and the ruins of the stable block are behind the bus station.

Excellent small and charming shop selling lots of interesting and different products, supports local artisans. Brilliant place for gifts for people of all ages. Amazing bargains on individual and handmade items. Always a warm welcome, too. Love popping in to have a look around. The staff in this lovely shop are friendly, friendly, highly helpful in finding the perfect gift.

Check out the gym, its facilities are excellent, very clean and up to date, ideal for those who want to keep up their exercise routine. It has a beautiful pool, numerous floats available for children, there are programmes for different age groups, with a beautiful spectator area. Very handy place to visit if it rains. Staff are friendly, polite and cheerful.
