Their whisky tasting tours will be available soon, but until then, you can visit their shop to browse a selection of unique items. Beware that the road to the distillery is single track and can get a little bumpy at times.

Puffin Coffee is an inviting little coffee shop with excellent coffee and delicious pastries. Driving and walking around in Ardnamurchan can be as tiring as it is rewarding, so have a rest and grab a coffee from this quaint coffee joint. The family-run café also has sandwiches for anyone who’s feeling a bit peckish.

Ardnamurchan is home to an ancient volcano that’s no longer active. If you get out of the car and go for a short walk by the crater, you can enjoy fantastic views of the crater ring and surrounding nature.

Castle Tiorem is a wonderful castle with a majestic, lush backdrop. If you are walking the silver walk circuit, the castle is one of the sights you’ll see along the way. The silver walk circuit is a walking trail you can walk in around three hours. The breathtaking, rugged views of the area come at the cost of a slightly challenging walk. Mind the steep path that can get treacherous at times and be sure to come prepared with water.
