Haverfordwest is an ancient and attractive Welsh country town and is regarded as the main trading town in the county of Pembrokeshire, the most curious feature of which is that the town's central core is washed by the waters of the Western Cleddau. This metropolis was established over 1000 years ago and during the Elizabethan era it established itself as the second-largest port in Wales until the arrival of the railway in 1853. Thanks to Haverfordwest, second-largest railway station can be extended throughout the county.

Bartholomew Roberts was a famous Welsh pirate and thanks to his number of heists since leaving seafaring he is ranked as one of the most successful pirates in history. Haverfordwest native and film and television actor Rhys Ifans won the BAFTA award for Best Actor in Television in 2005 and his roles in films such as Notting Hill and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 have put his town's name at the top of the charts, as well as his own. It is a gallery located in the former home of the former governor of the prison. The museum includes a wide range of impressive artefacts, paintings and prints depicting the town's history, multimedia presentations and photographs on a touch screen, and you can witness theatre plays about Haverfordwest's past in an innovative way.

Enjoy the wonderful view of the castle from the banks of the river. The fort is believed to have been founded in 1220 after it was first attacked by Llewelyn the Great, who had recently set fire to the town. In 1289, it was conquered by Queen Eleanor, wife of Edward I, and large-scale construction began immediately. After several years in various hands, in 1648 Cromwell ordered the demolition of the fortress and only part of it was destroyed. In the 18th century the castle was converted into a prison and now houses the county archives.

The medieval fortress built in the late 13th century by a Flemish knight passed into the hands of Sir John Wogan after its construction. The castle is of unusual construction, has been repeatedly remodelled and is Grade I listed. It can be visited from spring to autumn, while the beautiful gardens are open all year round. The fort includes a garden, a walled garden, a restaurant, accommodation is available in the cottages at the main gate, a shop and events such as fairs, exhibitions, workshops and weddings are held periodically.

This impressive fort was built by a Flemish settler, believed to be one of the first to arrive. Wiston Castle is one of the few best preserved motte-and-bailey forts in the country. In 1147, it was attacked by the Welsh, making the castle's life short and rather troubled, and in 1193 it was attacked again and finally destroyed by Llewelyn the Great in 1220. Only parts of the castle remain intact, such as the stone keep and the later addition to the motte which still stands 4 metres high.

This is a visitor centre and chocolate factory where they make their own type of chocolate. Visitors can take part in chocolate demonstrations, buy some chocolates or have a delicious drink in the on-site café. The products prepared in the factory are available in 25 shops in the city. The factory was founded in 2014 by Mark Owen who suffers from type I diabetes, therefore all the chocolates made by the company can be consumed by diabetics.
