For a moderate trail you can enjoy the 3.9 mile (6.3km) circular route from East Portlemouth to Gara Rock Beach which offers spectacular views across the Salcombe Staur to the sea and South Devon countryside. Halfway along the road you can find the Gara Rock restaurant, perfect for a refreshing drink. If you are looking for something more challenging you can continue from Gara Rock to Start Point. From East Portlemouth you can get ferries and boat trips that will take you on a very short trip between Salcombe and East Portlemouth along the Salcombe Kingsbridge Estuary.
