Peak Cavern is one of four caves in Castleton, better known as Devil's Ass and the only one that is completely natural. Until 1915 the cave was inhabited by the last troglodytes of Britain, while the depths were used as a refuge by bandits. The main entrance to Devil's Ass is the largest in the UK, and the cave system is the largest in the Peak District National Park. From one side of the cave to the other flows the Peakshole Water.

4. Tour the interesting Haddon HallA typical country house on the banks of the River Wye in the village of Bakewell. It is currently inhabited by Duke Lord Edward Manners and his family. Although not a castle, the manor has been protected by walls since 1195. Guided tours are available to learn about the history of the house and the families who have lived there. 5. Discover the iconic Abbeydale Industrial VillageIt is an industrial gallery located in the south of Sheffield. It functions as a museum with works and buildings dating from 1714 to 1876. The site shows the process of making blister steel from iron and coke. You can visit the museum from Sunday to Thursday allowing free admission.
