Located very close to the Irish West Airport, you can visit the excellent Ballina Golf Club, founded in 1924, with one of the most spectacular golf courses, and it's wonderful views of the Ox Mountains. Keep in mind the Ballina Salmon Festival, which takes place every year in mid-July. This ten-day event includes Heritage Day, Teddy Bear’s Picnic, and Country Western Night. All of these events culminate in Mardi Gras and fireworks.

After enjoying all that sea breeze, head over to Seahouses for a classic fish and chips and then spend the rest of the day at miniature golf and entertainment, or enjoy a swim at The Ocean Club.

When your children feel like eating something delicious, take them to Embers to devour a delicious pizza in the wood oven, they will undoubtedly love it! Located on the Eleanor's Byre estates in Embleton, here you can get take out or sit outside and skirt the roughness of the place. The pizza menu varies all the time, but they always keep some classic recipes, as well as have other options with a different twist. If you have to wait for the highland cattle in the adjoining field, you can keep the children distracted while they prepare the pizzas.

Low Newton By The Sea, is a property that belongs to The National Trust and stands out for the multiplicity of birds that you can see in that area.
