Broad Haven is a village in South West Wales which can be found in County Pembrokeshire and is situated just a few metres from the coast of the Irish Seas. The village provides the best location for a seaside holiday with a huge golden sandy beach that allows for safe bathing when the tide is out. You can explore the whole area as it is in proximity to the communities of Milford Haven and Haverfordwest. Although little is known about the origins of the village, it has been called a seaside resort since the 19th century.

The easiest way to get from place to place is to walk or hire a bicycle. Some locals have acquired cars over the years and sometimes work as taxi drivers, but you can drive into town and leave your car in the car park of your accommodation to make it easier to get around. Motorbikes are not allowed on the beaches to avoid any accidents.

Broad Haven beach is a long, narrow beach of fine golden sand and pebbles at high tide, while at low tide it is usually a very long beach with plenty of space for all visitors to enjoy. In fact, in summer it is very popular due to the safety it offers for swimming. During your stay, you should keep an eye on the tide so that the children can play safely, and you can walk along the cliffs to Little Haven. Pets are not allowed from May to September. In addition, this beautiful beach has been awarded the Blue Flag 2021.

Milford Haven Golf Course is situated next to the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park and has 18 holes on undulating terrain. The course has an excellent reputation for year round performance, with the motto "Rain doesn't stop the game". On hole number seven, the course has incredible views over the Milford Estuary. The venue has a clubhouse overlooking the 18th hole, a Fountain View Restaurant, a sports bar, ladies and gents changing rooms and showers.

Located in the small, sunny Welsh seaside town of Little Haven. It's a unique place to showcase the work of the great Shirley Norman. You will find original prints, watercolours, paintings, wood carvings, traditional lobster pots, among many other reproductions inspired by the local landscape. The gallery also offers watercolour classes by appointment.

You'll travel back in time to learn a little about the history of the town of Milford. From the Bronze Age when it was discovered that the fishing and whaling industries could be explored, which in the years that followed put Milford Haven on the map. Then it's on to the 21st century to examine the town's performance in supporting the world's energy demands. The site offers audio guides in German, Welsh and English to give you a better understanding of the different exhibits, and is open from Easter until October.

A 19th century coastal artillery fortress located to the west of Milford Haven in Pembrokeshire. The present castle formerly served as a blockhouse that had been built on the orders of King Henry VIII, it was a gun turret that formed part of the National Fortification Project. It is possible to visit the site to see what the forts were like in the past, as the site is derelict and some cannons have been demolished or buried.

It was established as a national park in 1952 and is the only one to have been chosen for its spectacular coastline. Within the park, there are several areas of national and international geological significance including a marine reserve, 75 sites of scientific interest, 7 conservation areas and 6 national nature reserves.
