The area and getting around
It is a place for calm, where you cannot hear anything at all, where there is no one, you cannot ignore the natural park of Glasnevin. It is situated in the village of Clonmany, on the Inishowen Peninsula, a remote and forgotten part of Ireland. The access is quite poorly signposted, it is next to a restaurant, on the road that goes from Clonmany to Duff. Once you park in the restaurant's parking lot, you have to pass a wooden fence that gives access to the park through a small dirt road. The path ascends following a river, and although the path divides, it always joins its forks, to arrive after 1 km, at the Glenevin waterfall. Long before, you can hear the roar of the water, which is the only noise that can be heard in this haven of peace.
