If you like history, away from the buzzing town and the neon lights, you can enjoy a whole world of heritage where you will see from Greek, Roman and Byzantine ancient relics. Visit the UNESCO Site of Nessebar, with a millennial history, in the Burgas province. Not far from here, go to Pomorie and visit the Roman tombs and its beautiful medieval monastery. Sozopol is a coastal town with cobbled lanes and historic buildings. In Sunny Beach you can visit the old town where you will see the ruins of the Byzantine-era fortifications and baths, the ruins of St. Sofia Church and St. Stephen Church.

Party goers are in paradise when in Sunny Beach! Boasting awesome bars and nightclubs with themed nights and music to dance the night away. Get ready for the impressive Free Fall, with speeds of up to 40 mph or try the Kamikaze starting at a height of 60 feet! For a quieter experience, the children can have great fun at the pirate-themed Adventure Island in the Kids Zone.

Diving in the Black Sea is a whole new adventure. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced PADI diver, you can find several diving centres with professional instructors that will guide you, teach you and take you to fantastic diving spots. Observe the typical Black Sea small fishes including needlefish, crabs, seahorses, Bucchich’s goby, Straightnose pipefish, Sand sole, Turbot fish and pipes. The Black Sea is also the final resting place for hundreds of sunken wrecks including The Mopang, three German u-boats and the Soviet WWII submarines. If you have not dived before you can have a try dive and feel what it’s like and if you have your Open Water course you can get the Advanced course at any of the specialised Padi centres in Nessebar, Golden Sands, Varna and Sunny Beach.

The ultimate experience to enjoy a fabulous day aboard a luxury catamaran, reading, having a cocktail, basking in the sun and indulging in great food. Indulge on meat seared over coal with rakia on the side pairing it with Mavrud wine. Whether you choose a Kamenitza or a Zagorka have it with kebapcheta, elongated pieces of grilled mince meat. Try some shopska salata, a musaka or the kyufte meatballs and some incredibly delicious fries with sirene cheese on top.
