It is an ethnographic museum with a collection of over 4000 artefacts based on Goa's agrarian lifestyle and technology. It was founded in 2010 by artist Victor Hugo Gomes and is considered one of the "most enchanting attractions in Goa". The Chitra collection houses examples of local pottery, musical instruments, agricultural tools, palanquins and old carts. Also on display is an organic farm for the cultivation of various vegetables, spices, herbs, sugarcane, rice and all the staples of the west coast of the country.
2. Take a walk through the ingenious Ancestral Goa - Big Foot MuseumIt is a theme park and museum dedicated to the rural life of Goa. Founded by artist Maendra Alvares who was also in charge of running it. The museum is open-air and aims to show in miniature what rural life was like in the locality more than a century ago. It is filled with antiques, period furniture and some paintings. Within the premises there is an art gallery, a restaurant, a handicraft centre where you can buy typical Goan handicrafts as souvenirs, a spring and a spice courtyard.
3. Indulge in the extraordinary Naval Aviation MuseumA museum dedicated to the history of the Naval Area Navy of India founded in October 1998 with a collection of 6 aircraft. The military aviation museum is divided into two parts, a two-storey indoor gallery and an outdoor exhibition. The indoor gallery has several rooms focusing on specific themes including naval weaponry such as torpedoes, bombs, automatic guns and sensors, and a succession of uniforms of the Indian air and naval forces. Outside the gallery, various aircraft engines are on display.
4. Ride on wheels at the iconic Ashvek Vintage World Car MuseumIt is a vintage car museum, the first and only one in Goa that displays a dozen cars hailing from different areas of India. It was established in July 2004 by entrepreneur Pradeep Naik to raise awareness among the youth about old cars. The museum takes care of the preservation and restoration of vintage cars, some of the cars that have been restored at the place are in excellent working condition and have been rented out for weddings, movies, romantic dates or for any fun ride. It is open Monday to Saturday every month of the year.
5. Tour the sacred Shri Mallikarjuna TempleIt is a temple dedicated to Lord Mallikarjun, an incarnation of Lord Shiva. The shrine is believed to have been built in the mid-14th century. There are at least 14 Mallikarjuna temples in the entire Goa district. The temple has 60 Hindu deities and holds a number of festivals every year with the jatra being the most unique of all in Goa.

Enjoy nature at the Cotigao Wildlife SanctuaryEstablished in the year 1968, it is a wildlife sanctuary which at the entrance has an ecotourism complex housing a nature interpretation centre, toilets, huts, libraries, rescue centre, canteen, children's playground and a ranger's office. It is known for the large forest of tall trees reaching up to 30 metres in height. Some animals included in the sanctuary are deer mouse, flying squirrel, white-bellied woodpecker, flying lizard, golden-backed glider snake, among others.
