Visit the Llangollen Canal this is a marvel of English engineering without a doubt, it is incredible to see this elevated canal about 50 meters from the wild river, which unfortunately is unnavigable. This canal was built for the transport of merchandise in times of yore, today it is used only for recreation, and there are private boats, for rent and collectives, which make walks. You must have no less than 1 day to enjoy it, without a doubt a true wonder, not to be missed!

Enjoy the Llangollen Steam Train. This next to the bridge is another of the great tourist attractions of the place; the Llangollen steam train was built in 1865, and was operational for the public until 1965. Although the tracks were raised in 1969 after also ceasing to be used for the transport of goods, in 2002 a section of it was rehabilitated as a tourist train

After an hour and a half uphill from Llangollen, at dusk, amid the fog, you will reach the Dinas Bran castle. There you will find ruins, a meadow of moss, far from all noise, with its own luminosity. Without a doubt visiting this place will be the most magical of your entire walk The ruins possibly date from the Iron Age. If you want to experience a unique moment, go when sunset comes

This is an intriguing place with the story of two women that, in the late 1700s, they dared to share their lives and live together. They created this unique historic building, making this a fascinating place to visit. The exterior is stunning, from the gardens to the entrance is amazing with all the beautiful carvings around the door. You will be cared for by an enthusiastic young woman who inhabits the house.

The trip to the Falls is by winding roads that run through a beautiful landscape. You have to pay to use the car park. You will be able to walk along the top of the hill to see the falls. The view is spectacular, the falls, the forests, the hills and the distant mountains. You will be awed by watching the river and seeing all the flora and fauna around it

The two parts of the town of Llangollen. This picturesque 16th century stone bridge, which had to be widened in the 19th century, is a real treat to behold, especially if you visit on a sunny day.

This abbey has a charming, or one might say turbulent history. It also houses some examples of medieval plaques; it is located in a very picturesque countryside. There are a few picnic tables, so you can go prepared for the picnic. And think for this in a place near the fish-pond that is really wonderful!

This can be a great little trip back to the days when most people were lucky enough to own a car and be able to work towards it without any hassle. There are a few vintage pieces for sale, many artefacts and information about Llangollen and the surrounding areas. Lots of things to see, as well as local art, and a lovely little shop stocking lots of reasonably priced gifts

This museum offers everything! Excellent local history and interpretation area. Here you will find a small space with huge amounts of information. From human history to geology, this place has it all. It is worth at least a quick visit, but easily spend an hour or two. You will take many local books and souvenirs.
