If you fancy a little excursion from the city, take the Vale of Rheidol railway that connects Aberystwyth with Devil’s Bridge. Located just behind the castle, St. Michael’s is an impressive church that is steeped in history. You do not need to pay to enter to see this historical monument, it is a great place to see one of the most extraordinary churches in all of West Wales.
