Abersoch has many places to explore. One is Bardsey Island, a wild island which is located 2 miles off the Llŷn Peninsula, with a rich wildlife, amazing coastline and attractive history. The island has been designated a National Nature Reserve, and Special Area of Conservation for its habitats and species. You can walk on the marked paths around the island, also you will see an exhibition about the life and work of the artist and author Brenda Chamberlain in the barn within Nant Yard. Also, you can visit the Bardsey bird and field observatory.

Green Wood Family park is one of the most popular family attractions in the North of Wales and the reason is the combination of enjoying amazing rides with the charm of the natural world. Also, there is the only eco-adventure theme park in the UK with 17 acres of woodland. Solar splash is a ride that starts at the top of a 12-metre-high tower, reached after climbing some 64 steps with far-reaching views across Snowdonia, and finishes at 80 meters at ground level. The Porth Neigwl or Hells Mouth as is well known. It’s very popular by the surfers and kayakers who love to go there to enjoy an adrenaline day. Also it’s recognized by its large waves along it, but expert surfers agree that the northern is the best. So, if you are ready to live this experience, then you will be prepared because in this beach there are no facilities. But there is a pub with food which is a half mile. By the way, if you like surf, but you don’t have experience, you will find a surf school on the island.

The history of the gallery is that this Victorian Gothic mansion was built in 1857 by Elizabeth Jones Parry, widow of Sir Love Jones Parry of Madryn. Now, it’s an important gallery and arts centre with a tea shop that offers the best summer exhibitions with renowned painters from the region and other places. You will find in the shop a variety of wonderful artworks. In a short time, the organizers are planning a great exhibition with well-known guest painters like: Howard Coles.

Visiting the castles allows us to learn more about the culture of this region. One of the famous is Criccieth castle which it’s located at the North Wales, and it was built in the 13th on the headland between two beaches. It’s exciting to see that although many centuries have passed the castle is intact. After visiting the castle you can go to the award-winning beaches or to visit the attractive town of Criccieth in Gwynedd which is known by its popular fairs which brings many visitors each spring.

At the South of Wales you will find the Brecon Beacons National Park. Here you will discover the natural caves, extraordinary landscapes, beautiful gardens, impressive waterfalls and more that you can imagine. One exciting experience is to find animals in farm places, and stroll around country parks where you can delight the local products. Another quiet activity you can choose is to sail across the Llangorse lake which is considered as the largest natural lake in Wales

Cardiff Big Weekend is recognized as the largest outdoor music festival, and it’s celebrated the first weekend of august of each year. Many people come to enjoy this festival, and it’s an ideal event to promote music talents. It’s worth mentioning that some great singers, groups, bands of rock and pop music are part of the Wales music history like Tom Jones, Shirley Bassey, Nansi Richards, Rebecca Evans, Manic Street Preachers, Catfish and the Bottlemen and Stereophonics, among others.
