Travellers and activities
Though Pollenca is a small town, it is replete with historical monuments that highlight Mallorca's rich heritage. Our Lady of the Angels Parish Church (Parròquia de la Mare de Déu dels Àngels), with its lovely stained-glass windows, is a great example of this heritage. Built in the 13th century, it belonged to the Knights Templar and later, the Order of the Knights Hospitallers. Another interesting piece of history to visit is the Roman Bridge. No one is quite certain who built the bridge, but history states that the Romans occupied the island from 123BC until 425AD.
