This man-made underground limestone complex is the result of 2,000 years of quarrying beer stone! This element has been used in 24 of Britain's 44 cathedrals because of its colour and ease of carving. You can find it present in many prestigious buildings such as Exeter Cathedral and the Tower of London. Take a tour of the caves, discover the terrible working conditions and dangers faced by the workers, and enter the secret Catholic chapel. Here the smugglers hid their contraband.

Hike the South West Coast Path through Hooken Undercliff! This moderate 6-kilometre walk links the villages of Beer and Branscombe and will provide you with dramatic, jaw-dropping sea views. Although it is one of the most spectacular walks in the area, the path has steep stairs and winding paths. However, a hike to the top will reward you with incredible panoramic views of the ocean and mountains, worthy of a photo.

Seaton Bay Watersports is the best option to enjoy the sea and stay active during the holidays. Take a trip to the Jurassic Coast and get up close and personal with the gentle waters and wildlife of the Axe River. The trips are suitable for all levels. However, you will need to have some previous experience to be able to do the SUP trip. But don't be discouraged, the good news is that Stand-Up Paddle is easy to learn, so within an hour, you'll be on your feet and paddling!
