The 3 1/2-room Maiensäss (52 m2) was completely renovated in 2021. The cosy holiday home with attached barn on the southern slope above Rueun stands alone in the midst of unspoilt mountain scenery. Pastures, forests and small streams surround the Tegia Cucagna. Enjoy the sweeping view with the mountain panorama of the Surselva from the hot tub. In spring, summer and autumn, the Maiensäss can be reached via the alpine road from Rueun or Siat (driving permit required) in an off-road car (with parking space). In winter, the path from Siat to the hut can be walked on snowshoes. Duration approx. 1 ½ hours. For those seeking peace and quiet, nature lovers, hikers, mountaineers, bikers and in winter snowshoeing, ski touring, winter walks and with a bit of luck game watching, simply a paradise. Non-smoking accommodation.

Description of the unit
Bedrooms: 2 bedrooms on the upper floor: Cosy bedrooms each with two single beds and a unique view. One bed is foldable and can be placed under the other bed. The bedrooms have a large shelf for clothes and storage. A cot is also available (folding travel cot). Bed linen is available and included in the price. The sofa in the ground floor living room can be converted into a French bed for two more people. Living room: An open-plan living room with kitchen/dining/living area. In the centre of the living room is the oven and the cooking island, a dining table with 4-6 chairs, a sofa bed, a frame. WLAN available throughout the flat (free of charge). The PV system provides electricity for the lighting and for charging notebooks and mobile phones or e-bikes. A fully automatic pellet stove and a battery system with solar boiler for hot water provide the right level of comfort. Kitchen: The kitchen is well equipped and has a gas cooker with oven, blender and an espresso maker (coffee not available), a raclette oven and a fondue caquelon. Kitchen linen is available and included in the price. Compost for green waste available. The resources of water, gas, wood and electricity must be used carefully. Self-sufficient Maiensäss with its own spring and a drainless waste water tank. Bathroom: The bathroom has a WC, a washbasin with mirror cabinet and a shower. You must bring your own towels. Note: No hair dryer (needs too much electricity) Outside: Fountain/solar outdoor shower available for warm summer days, as well as hot tub/hot tub for a wellness feeling.
