There are mountains to climb or easier canal walks. 1km away is the Monmouthshire and Brecon canal where you can walk on the flat for miles. If you like wildlife, there are numerous bird species around us, including Buzzards, Red kites, goldfinch, greenfinch, Blue Tits, Barn Owls.

Esther is a comfy 6 berth caravan with her own bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, lounge and 2 bedrooms. She is spacious and we've provided a decked area outside for extra outside space in our field. She also has her own bathroom with shower and plumbed in toilet.

She is located 100m along a lane from our country pub, The Horseshoe Inn. Here you will find, excellent views and where understated friendly excellence is standard. Relax with a drink or if you don't fancy cooking choose a freshly prepared lunch or dinner, made on the premises, from local ingredients.

Or you could visit the local canal centre and museum, Goytre wharf. Here you can sip a coffee or admire the boat yard. Or even hire a boat for the day

Further away are the market towns of Abergavenny (10km) and Usk (6km), both with an eclectic range of independent shops. Further still (65km), but within reasonable driving distance we find Tintern with its ruined Cistercian Abbey and Chepstow with its Castle on two rivers. Other castles to visit in the area include Usk, Raglan and Abergavenny.
