Holiday apartment in unique panorama-villa Zincalo – vacationing in remarkably exposed location, in an old olive grove on Marina di Camerota’s Monte di Luna

Unterhalb des weitläufigen Grundstücks der Villa Zincalo fällt die Küste steil in das tiefblaue Meer hinab. Dieser einmalig schöne Küstenstreifen gehört zum Meeresnaturpark Infreschi, der unbedingt auf zweierlei Weise entdeckt werden sollte: zu Fuß, um die spektakulären Meerespanoramen zu bestaunen, und per Boot, um die bis zu 180 m hohen Felswände und geheimnisvollen Meeresgrotten in all ihrer Schönheit zu erfassen.

Auf dem Hanggelände befinden sich die Villa mit 3 Wohnungen und das separate Gästehaus Casetta Zincalo. Die Wohnung oberhalb der Ferienwohnungen Danda und Archi wird von den römischen Eigentümern in den Ferien i.d.R. selbst bewohnt.

FERIENWOHNUNG DANDA FÜR 4 PERSONEN – ist nur auf Anfrage verfügbar, da sie gern von der Tochter der Eigentümer genutzt wird.
Die kleinere Ferienwohnung Danda ist ähnlich wie das Appartement Archi geschnitten und verfügt über ein kleines Wohn-/Esszimmer, eine Einbauküche, 2 Doppelschlafzimmer und 2 Bäder. Vom größeren Schlafzimmer und vom Wohnbereich hat man Zugang zur teils überdachten Terrasse des Appartements.

GEMEINSAMER AUSSENBEREICH DES ANWESENS
Die alten dicken Olivenbäume verleihen dem Anwesen ein besonderes und mediterranes Flair. Sie stehen bis dicht an die Terrassen.
Den besten Blick auf das Meer, den nur 400 m entfernten Lentiscelle-Strand und Marina di Camerota haben Sie von der Gemeinschaftsterrasse des Anwesens, auf der ein Pizza-Steinofen mit kleiner Außenküche zur Verfügung steht. In dieser können Sie Ihren Pizzaabend vorbereiten und dabei einen wundervollen Blick auf das Tyrrhenische Meer und den Sarazenenturm zu Ihren Füßen genießen.

Auf dem umzäunten Gelände stehen ausreichend Parkmöglichkeiten zur Verfügung. Die Zufahrt zur Villa Zincalo ist ein etwa 200 m langer Feldweg, der von der asphaltierten Anliegerstraße abzweigt und am Einfahrtstor des Anwesens endet.

UMGEBUNG DER VILLA ZINCALO
Vom Grundstück führt ein Trampelpfad nach 100 m zum Torre Zincalo und weiter hinab zum Meer. Ebenfalls zu Fuß erreichen Sie nach ca. 400 m den Kies-/Sandstrand Lentiscelle, der sich zwischen Marina di Camerota und dem Monte di Luna erstreckt.

Folgen Sie hingegen dem Küstenwanderweg kommen Sie zu den Buchten Cala Bianca, Pozzallo und dem natürlichen Schutzhafen Infreschi. Zwischen April und Oktober erreichen Sie diese Buchten auch täglich per Boot mit den Kooperativen Cilento Mare und Cilento Blu. Beide finden Sie am Hafen von Marina di Camerota.

Der Ortskern von Marina di Camerota ist etwa 2,4 km entfernt. Im Zentrum rund um die Piazza San Domenico sowie entlang der Meerespromenade und am Hafen finden Sie Restaurants, Bars, Eisdielen, Geschäfte und den Bäcker Consentino. Zwei größere Supermärkte befinden sich am Ortseingang. Einmal pro Woche findet auf dem Parkplatz am Hafen außerdem ein Markt statt.

Below the rambling premises Villa Zincalo is located on, the coast drops steeply into the deep blue sea. This uniquely beautiful coastal stretch is part of marine nature park Infreschi, which should be explored in two ways: on foot to discover the spectacular seascapes and by boat to take in the up to 180 m high rock faces and the mysterious sea grottos in all their beauty.

Apart from the main house with three apartments, separate guest house Casetta Zincalo is also located on the sloping premises. During vacation time, the owners, who live in Rome, usually stay at the apartment above holiday apartments Danda and Archi.

HOLIDAY APARTMENT DANDA FOR 4 PERSONS – is available only on request, as the owners’ daughter likes to use it.
Apartment Danda is similar in layout to apartment Archi, but smaller. It includes a small living-dining room, a fitted kitchen (incl. oven, gas stove, refrigerator with freezer compartment), 2 bedrooms (double bed each) and 2 bathrooms (shower/WC/bidet each). The larger bedroom and the living area open onto the apartment’s partly roofed terrace. The apartment features WiFi, SAT-TV and gas heating (extra charge in case of use).

OUTDOOR AREA FOR SHARED USE
The old, bulky olive trees, which grow up close to the terraces, make for a special and Mediterranean atmosphere on the premises.
From the property’s terrace for shared use, you have got the best view of the sea, of Lentiscelle beach only 400 m off and of Marina di Camerota. There is a stone pizza oven on this terrace as well as a small outdoor kitchen, where you can prepare your 'pizza evening' with a fantastic view of the Tyrrhenian Sea and the Saracen tower at your feet.

Note: On your way to Villa Zincalo, look out for a kind of field track that branches off the residents-only road. It ends (ca. 200 m) at the entrance gate onto the fenced premises, which you can park your car on.

SURROUNDINGS OF VILLA ZINCALO
From the property, a footpath runs down to Torre Zincalo (ca. 100 m) and further on down to the sea. Lentiscelle beach (pebble/sand) below Monte di Luna can also be reached on foot (ca. 400 m).

The coastal hiking trail takes you from Monte di Luna to the bays of Cala Bianca, Pozzallo and the natural harbor of Infreschi. Between April and October, cooperatives Cilento Mare and Cilento Blu, both found at the harbor of Marina di Camerota, offer daily boat trips to these bays.

Villa Zincalo is about 2.4 km from the center of Marina di Camerota with restaurants, bars, ice cream parlors and various stores as well as Consentino’s bakery. Just take a leisurely stroll around Piazza San Domenico, through the alleys, along the seaside promenade and at the harbor. Two larger supermarkets are found at the entrance to Marina. Once a week, a market takes place in the parking lot at the harbor.
