The rustic sleeping barrel "Wolpertinger" is located near Oberstaufen, close to the Austrian border at Camping-Aach, and offers a fabulous view of the mountains. The barrel has an extendable table with 6 seats, a 200x200cm family bed and two convertible beds measuring 210x70 cm.
It can accommodate up to 4 people.
The beds are made up with sheets, which you can use with your own pillows/blankets/sleeping bag.
Under the bed and benches you will find plenty of storage space for your luggage.
Your outdoor area includes a terrace with additional seating.
Please note that pets are not allowed in the barrel.
The sanitary facilities are approx. 20m away. A general fridge is available, but no cooking facilities. If you need this, please choose our rental caravan or holiday flat!
The Natur-Camping Aach is located in the middle of unspoilt nature and only about 7 km from Oberstaufen. For over 50 years now, we have been personally looking after every single guest.
For hiking, skiing or simply relaxing. We are in a quiet location and yet central to many excursion destinations in the Allgäu and Vorarlberg.
You can reach summer toboggan runs, adventure pools, climbing gardens and mountain railways in just a few minutes. Hiking/cycling trails and a cross-country ski trail start directly at the site.
Our communal facilities include:
Bread roll service
A playground with table tennis table
A games room with table football and pool table
A washing machine & dryer
Storage room for ski equipment
Gaststätte
Free parking
A visitor's tax is charged.
Pets are only allowed in the "Schlafhöhle/ Doppelfass". Please contact us in advance regarding this. A separate fee will be charged.
In the sleeping barrels, the beds are made up with sheets, which you can use with your own duvets/sleeping bags/pillows.
In exceptional cases, we can provide you with woollen blankets and pillows for a fee. Please contact us in advance!
After your arrival, please contact us at reception or call the telephone number given at the entrance to the campsite.
Other check-in/check-out times can be arranged subject to availability. Please contact us in this regard.
