Despite the small population, the port city of Ostend is very lively and full of entertainment, located only 35 kilometers from the Dutch border. It is a good idea to visit the Kursaal after a nice day at the beach, where you will find entertainment, variety and excitement in the concert hall, restaurant and great casino. There are excellent shopping opportunities in Ostend, such as in the famous Chapel Street. Some cultural treasures, including the open-air museum Atlantikwall, the museum ship Amandine, the church of St. Peter and Paul, Fort Napoleon and the former, royal summer residence are definitely worth a visit. With your children you can go to the cinema or visit an indoor playground. During your stay you can also visit the nearby towns of Bredene, De Haan and De Panne.

War alles toll bis auf die freien Parkplätze. Die mir vorgegeben wurden waren alles Anwohnerparkplätze und nur mit Ausweis zu nutzen. Müsste selber schauen wo ich mein Fahrzeug parken konnte
ohne Strafe zu zahlen. Sind nach langem suchen aber fündig geworden. Das war das einzigste was sehr nervig war.

Die Wohnung ist ausreichend, wenn man nur zu zweit reist. Mit vier Personen würde ich es nicht empfehlen. Auch die separate Toilette ist sehr klein. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind in der Nähe, und genügend Restaurants sind auch da. Nur frei parken kann man an der Promenade seit diesem Jahr nicht mehr, da muss man dann etwas weiter weg parken.

Bett ist für 2 Personen etwas schmal (1,40m) aber von der Matratze her sehr gut geschlafen. Küche voll ausgestattet. Wohnung war sehr sauber, toller Blick auf die See. Aufzug und Treppenhaus waren etwas eng.Erhohlung garantiert
