Perched in a great location within a few minutes walk of both the colourful town with bustling high street and the seafront with its long stretch of shingle beach, this quaint holiday cottage is ideal for a short stay or relaxing coastal holiday.

This is a small house with a big welcome with beautifully designed interiors in the style of a boutique hotel. The elegant sitting room sits at the front of the cottage, opening into the well-equipped galley kitchen with space to dine at home if you wish and a stable door to the communal courtyard. Accommodation on the first floor comprises the chic bedroom with a king size bed and an additional room which can be used as a quiet space to read in, a dressing room with hanging space, or a single room with the quality day bed made up on request. At the top of the stairs is the compact shower room.

Conveniently close by is the church car park where you can park for free using the permit in the cottage. At the back of 1 Alde Lane is a communal courtyard style area with bistro style table and a couple of chairs inviting you to sit outside and enjoy the sea air.


The Space
You're welcomed into the hallway with carpeted stairs ahead of you to the first floor landing and the door to the living room to your right with kitchen beyond, all with hard flooring. Both bedrooms off the landing are carpeted and the shower room has a lino floor.

LIVING ROOM
A charming room with attractive velvet sofa, an additional chair, occasional tables and a smart TV.
KITCHEN/BREAKFAST ROOM
Very well thought out to provide everything you need to enjoy catering or take-aways at home. Built-in units house an electric oven with grill, four ring ceramic hob, microwave, slimline dishwasher and washing machine. The free standing American style fridge freezer has ample storage with four drawers in the freezer section. A small table with bench, chair and stool wits by the window and the stable door gives access to the communal courtyard.

MAIN BEDROOM
This stylish double aspect room at the front of the semi-detached cottage is beautifully decorated in pastel shades. The comfortable king size bed takes pride of place between bedside drawers and there's additional storage in a large chest of drawers, as well as a smart chaise positioned by the shuttered window.
DRESSING/SINGLE ROOM
The quality day bed here can be made up for you as an extra single if requested in advance. Alternatively this room is a relaxing place to sit with a good book or can be used as a dressing room with a cleverly designed hanging rail with a shelf and console table.
SHOWER ROOM
Well located at the top of the stairs giving easy access during the day and at night from both bedrooms. There's a large shower cubicle, wash basin in a vanity unit, WC, heated towel rail with towels provided and window giving natural light.

OUTSIDE
The cottage is on the corner of Alde Lane which runs off Victoria Road, the main road into town. There's a parking permit for you to park one car in the church car park which is a little further down the hill on the left. The communal area at the back is shared with the neighbours but you do have your own bistro style table and chairs. You're welcome to bring one small dog however remember that the cottage is petite so not suitable for medium/large dogs.
