This cozy holiday cottage is situated in the heart of the popular seaside town of Harlech. It is known locally as ‘The Doll's House’ due to it's small but perfectly formed size. It has been recently renovated to maximize the light and space in this lovely cottage with it's upside down layout.
Down stairs has the benefit of recently added extra insulation.
There is an open plan lounge, dining room and kitchen. The sitting room has a large comfortable L shaped sofa with an open fire, and TV with built-in DVD player. The small dining table and benches have views over the rooftops to the sea. The kitchen has an electric oven with induction hob, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave and toaster.
The bathroom is located on the living space floor with a bath and shower over, loo and wash hand basin.
The two bedrooms are both located on the lower ground floor, which is accessed by a steep staircase with alternating treads known as "paddle and oar". There is one small double room with beautiful fabrics, and the second has two singles.
There is a small narrow graveled area to the front of the house which is large enough to sit with your coffee and watch the world go by. You will usually find road parking outside the cottage but there is parking in the nearby car park for which the owner has provided a pass.
Harlech has an assortment of small shops, cafes, restaurants, a beach and impressive castle. It is a great location to explore the beautiful Snowdonia National Park which offers the best of sea, sand, woodlands, waterfalls, lakes and mountains. And the magnificent Royal St David's golf club, a renown links championship course.
Guests need to note that the bedrooms are accessed by a steep staircase which has alternating treads known as "paddle and oar" and will not be suitable for very young children or the elderly.
