Enjoy the view of the sea.
This beautiful detached cottage rests on the sea front of Filey, boasting panoramic views over the magnificent stretch of sand that is Filey Bay, with Filey Brigg and its shallow rockpools to the north.
Equally perfect for families or couples wishing to escape from the hustle and bustle, Sunrise is an excellent choice for a holiday whatever the season.
Renovated to a precious standard, the ground floor comprises of a dining area, and a cosy lounge where you can snuggle up in front of the TV, which invites warmth to those cooler evenings.
Conveniently, there is also a family bathroom on this level, with a bath and integrated shower.
Follow the natural lighting over to the open-tread spiral staircase, where you can wander up to the delightful bedrooms.
The double bedroom takes you out onto a south-facing Juliet balcony, your own haven to unwind with a warm cup of tea and truly appreciate the unique location.
The second room hosts two single beds, just as promising for a good night's sleep, with a cloakroom dividing the formation.
Discover the small patio/garden area outside, a chance to take in the fresh air, before an exciting day out in Filey and beyond.
The town centre is a very short walk from the cottage, don’t be surprised if you see a brass band playing in the gardens on a Summer Sunday.
The town has 12 pubs and bars, the nearest, the Bon Hommes, is only a stone’s throw away at the top of the hill.
Scarborough, seven miles to the north, was Britain’s first seaside resort.
It has an attractive and still working fishing harbour and a castle that takes you back in time, as well as many typical seaside attractions that cater for all tastes.
Not far is the solitude and beauty of the North Yorkshire Moors as well as the coastal town of Whitby, famous for being the home of legendary Captain Cook and fictional home of Bram Stoker’s Dracula, and the very picturesque coastal hamlet of Robin Hoods Bay.
Golfers can enjoy Filey golf club, just one mile from the cottage.
All of which just add to the appeal of this lovely little hideaway by the sea.
