From long stretching sandy shores, colourful beach huts, bustling amusements and fish restaurants, a stay at Central Retreat is suitable for the whole family. The Space
Central Retreat is an end terrace, 4 bedroom holiday home spread across four floors.

The basement to the property is home to the kitchen diner and cloakroom.

KITCHEN
Modern in style, the kitchen has grey cabinets and light wood worktops. Complemented perfectly with white tiles and light grey appliances, this space is clean and welcoming. It is equipped with an oven, hob, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, kettle, slow cooker and coffee maker so you’ll have everything you could need for your stay. There is also a washing machine, dryer and dishwasher so you can really make the most of your self-catering break. The cloakroom has a WC and basin.

DINING AREA
The dining area includes a wooden dining table and quirky metal dining chairs. Grey wood paneling creates a cosy space perfect for spending time with your loved ones. Whether you’re planning your seaside holiday with friends or family, there will be plenty of room for you to enjoy meals together at Central Retreat. There is also a flat screen TV with Freeview so little ones can enjoy their morning shows at breakfast.

LIVING ROOM
Head upstairs to the ground floor and you’ll find the living room and master bedroom. The living room has a distinct look with a purple feature wall, statement fireplace and patterned sofas. Ideal for relaxing after a day in Scarborough, you can turn on the TV and enjoy your favourite shows on Freeview. There is also a DVD player if you’d like to bring your own DVDs to watch during your stay.

MASTER BEDROOM
The master bedroom has a neutral colour scheme with light grey coloured walls and crisp white bedding. You’ll enjoy your night's sleep in the comfortable King size bed as it boasts premium bedding. The space is complete with a black dressing table and mirror.

GARDEN
Outside you’ll find a fully enclosed walled rear garden with outdoor furniture. Ideal for relaxing, you can sit on the pale green bench or at the round table. Please note there is a pond in the garden so please ensure children are always supervised and extra care is taken when in the garden.

BEDROOM AND BATHROOM
Upstairs on the first floor, you’ll find a further two bedrooms. Both bedrooms are spacious doubles with ample storage space. One features beautiful mint green wallpaper and the other has pops of orange through the soft furnishings.

Head upstairs again to the top floor and you’ll find the last bedroom as well as the family bathroom. Featuring 3 single beds, this room is ideal for children, teenagers or groups of friends. With a sloped ceiling and skylight windows, the room feels light and airy.

Host & Stay are committed to our owners that their homes are protected during bookings. For this reason, we require all of our guests to transfer a £250.00 Damage Deposit (subject to a £10.00 administration charge) or, to purchase an Accidental Damage Waiver for £25.00 which will cover you for up to £500.00 of accidental damage during your stay.

Guests have access to the full property. The keys to the property are accessed via a secure key safe and full details will be provided shortly before your arrival date.

The Neighborhood
Located in the centre of Scarborough, Central Retreat is just a short walk to all of the attractions. Packed with seaside charm, you’ll find plenty of pubs, restaurants and cafes to discover as well as arcades and ice cream parlours.

There are a number of beaches for you to choose from. The popular South Bay is a sun trap and close to the hustle and bustle of the town centre. North Bay has been accredited with Blue Flag status meaning it’s one of the best beaches in Europe!

Ideal for all weathers, there are lots of indoor attractions in Scarborough for the whole family. Head to Sea Life Sanctuary to see seals, penguins, sharks, turtles and more or Scarborough Castle to explore its 3000 year history. If it’s outdoor fun you’re looking for, The Open Air Theatre is a short 20 minute walk from the house where you can see amazing bands, singers and comedians. There is also the Sky Trail Adventure and Peasholm Park nearby.


Getting Around
Central Retreat is within walking distance of all that Scarborough has to offer and within 1 hours’ drive time of Staithes, Whitby, Robin Hood’s Bay and Filey.

Scarborough Train Station is a short 10 minute walk away and has routes to Filey, Bridlington, Liverpool and Sheffield.

There are plenty of bus routes throughout Scarborough. Hop on the 12 route and you can visit neighbouring seaside spots of Filey and Bridlington. The X93 travels through to Middlesbrough with drop offs in Robin Hood’s Bay and Whitby.
