Information about the host
Our remodelled Black Forest farm - family-owned since 1756 - with pasture and forestry, is located in the particularly scenic rear Renchtal in an idyllic district of Bad Peterstal. Surrounded by wide meadows and forests, the "Maierbauernhof" offers the best relaxation at any time of year in a fog-free location in the heart of the Black Forest. The holiday flats are all fully equipped with kitchen/living room, shower/WC, bedroom, balcony or terrace, TV and WLAN. Dogs are very welcome. If required, we have well-equipped kennels. A particularly cosy place is the large pergola with barbecue area, under which we always had a lot of fun at barbecue evenings together, as well as the large billiard room, where you can spend a good time in good company even in bad weather. There is also a large playground with a play tower, trampoline and table tennis table, adjacent to the various animal enclosures. Our goats, sheep and chickens are very happy to receive a few salad leaves and cuddles. Our farm is situated at an altitude of approx. 500 metres. It is bordered on the lower side by a torrent. You can hike directly from the farm into the neighbouring forests. Thanks to very well-marked and numerous premium hiking trails, you can experience the Black Forest from a very special side, even in autumn and winter. Due to our idyllic location 2km from the village centre, we recommend arriving by car. Excursions in the near and far surroundings: Allerheiligen waterfalls with ruins, open-air museum, Vogtsbauernhof, Europapark Rust, Strasbourg, glass blowing in Wolfach and much more. A family and child-friendly atmosphere awaits you.

Arrival and departure arrangements
Please contact us shortly before arrival to discuss the arrival time. By phone, e-mail or WhatsApp. In case of absence, an independent check-in is also no problem by arrangement.

Different cancellation conditions of the host
Cancellations up to 14 days before arrival are free of charge, later cancellations will be charged at 90% of the travel price.

Tourist tax information
The prices quoted do not include the tourist tax (2.20EUR per person and night) or the prices for several pets (5EUR per pet and night).

Description of the unit
Our cosy family flat offers everything you need for a relaxing holiday. It has a well-equipped eat-in kitchen with satellite TV and WiFi, a bathroom with shower and WC, two bedrooms and a balcony. Each bedroom is furnished with a double bed and a single bed and offers enough space for 6 people. For a seventh person there is an additional mattress drawer and on request we are happy to provide you with a baby travel cot.
