The Neighbourhood
La Patacona beach is located in the municipality of Alboraya and is a must-see during your stay in Valencia. It is one of the most fashionable beaches in the province and is the natural continuation of the Malvarrosa beach. The next neighbouring beach is Port Saplaya, an area with great charm all year round which, due to the shapes and colours of its architecture, as well as the small interior canals, is commonly known as Little Venice. Nearby you will find a long promenade, a shopping centre, numerous restaurants with terraces and cafés.

At only 10 minutes by car from Valencia city, this neighbourhood is an ideal starting point to visit the most famous beaches of the city and some neighbouring towns such as El Puig, with its 13th century monastery or the historic city of Sagunto, presided over by a Roman castle and whose Jewish quarter is well worth a visit.



How to get around
-The whole municipality is surrounded by a cycle lane that runs all around the city of Valencia.

- The nearest taxi rank is 800 metres away.

- The bus line 31 (La Patacona stop) leads to Facultats, in Blasco Ibáñez, where you can access the metro line 5 towards the centre of Valencia (Xàtiva stop).

- There is a municipal bus, from the Egusa company, with a connection to Patacona Beach and Alboraya town.
