There are many great places to see the sign from, such as Lake Hollywood Park, but if you really want to experience it, consider walking up to it. The hike is steep if you take the Wisdom Tree Trail, it's easy, and you can make several stops. It certainly gives you some great views of Los Angeles and allows you to get up close to the most iconic sign you'll ever see!

Take a ride filled with many activities at Universal Studios Hollywood is the main amusement park here. What's more fun is that it also has a working backlot, which you can see on the backlot ride with your ticket. Don't go to Los Angeles without visiting this beautiful park with many roller coasters and more things to do, all themed to the theme you want, and even your favourite movie! You could see the water world show, eat a Springfield donut and visit for their Christmas festivities. It really is a fun place to explore in the city.

As you know, this glamorous place is the original birthplace of cinema, and one of the best ways to experience this history is to visit the studios themselves. There are four studios you can visit, if you count the Universal attraction. Tours are permitted at Paramount and Warner Brothers, but not at Sony. Each of the tours offers a great way to get a better understanding of how films are made, see props and even visit a sound stage. It is worth mentioning that you can also visit Malibu. Many tourists don't venture to this beautiful and iconic beach, but they really should because it is beyond gorgeous. I recommend visiting Point Dume to enjoy the incredible views of the coastline, stop for seafood at one of the many restaurants, or hike to Escondido Falls or Sandstone Peak. You could spend a whole week exploring Malibu.

Want to feel like you're part of a film? Take a stroll through beautiful Beverly Hills and Rodeo Drive, these places are very iconic. The Beverly Hills sign is right next to a large fountain, and is a popular spot for photos for your social media. A few blocks away is Sprinkles, which has a cupcake ATM that is a favourite of many people. After another few blocks, you'll see Rodeo Drive, made famous by the film Pretty Women. It has a lot of high-end shops!
